School of Occupational Safety & Fire Sciences

The School of Occupational Safety & Fire Sciences at Brooklyn Bay University teaches students about the behavior of fire, environmental policy, fire extinguishment methods, rescue methods, and leadership skills training. It involves the study of the behavior, compartmentalization, suppression and investigation of fire and its related emergencies, as well as the research and development, production, testing and application of mitigating systems. The students graduating from this course work as fire inspector, fire investigator, fire chief and fire experts.
